Hudson Honey Co. offers so much more than Honey! My 10 acre farm is located in beautiful Hudson, Ohio. In addition to my 20+ beehives, I raise goats and pigs. We have also started selling fresh veggies and fresh-cut flowers. I strive to provide the best quality products with everything I produce. From my delicious raw honey to my juicy tomatoes, it is my goal to provide the community with wholesome, back to basics food that you can feel good feeding to your family.

Meet the Farmer...
|
Let me introduce myself, my name is Vince. I've been happy to call Hudson home since I was a kid. Back in the day I raised pigs at my neighbor's house for the local 4-H club when I was in grade school. After college, I moved to my current property on the outskirts of town, where I started raising bees- next came a couple chickens and the rest is history! I have been trying to grow the farm a little every year. Besides farming I am also a full time firefighter for a nearby city.

No farm is complete without a good farm dog or two. Meet Teddy and Ellie. They are in charge of security around the farm, and boy do they love their job! They are both Maremma Sheepdogs (Italian version of the Great Pyrenees) which is a breed of Livestock Guardian Dogs. For thousands of years (yes, the breed is that old!) Maremmas have protected sheep from wolves in the Italian Hills. Now Teddy and Ellie protect my goats from cayotes and other predators here on the farm. They live outside with the animals year round, but they wouldn't want it any other way! And don't worry- their fur gets so thick in the winter they don't even start shivering till about -20f.
